New Google Interactive Tour of Abbey Road Studios

Here at Yellow Hats we love our music and the Spotify is regularly running white hot as we work to meet our client deadlines. Hugh our creative director particularly likes The Beatles. In fact Hugh, has over the years, bought every Album they ever made both in vinyl, cd and probably cassette tape for all those of you who remember them!

So you can imagine his joy when he heard that a new Google interactive tour in partnership with Abbey Road Studios, have opened the studio for everyone, including our very own Creative Director, to explore at their leisure via an interactive experience.

However the famous Abbey Road Studios are not all simply about The Beatles. The studio has played a massive role in music history as bands like Pink Floyd and Oasis have also recorded icon albums there as well as being the recording home to film scores like "Star Wars," "Harry Potter" and "Indiana Jones."

Tom Seymour, the project lead from Google’s Creative Lab says: “We’re always looking at how we can use technology to bring people closer to cultural icons and institutions around the world. With Inside Abbey Road, we wanted to open the doors to the iconic music studio for anyone in the world to step inside and experience the stories, the sounds, the people and the equipment that make Abbey Road Studios what it is today.
