The Brief
Bloomsbury Publishing is the UK’s largest independent book publisher and has a strong international presence.
With some of the world’s best known authors and lucrative film rights from the likes of the Harry Potter movies, the design of the annual report had to position Bloomsbury Publishing as a financially strong and a creatively shrewd company.
Our Solution
We have designed three consecutive annual reports for Bloomsbury Publishing, and our key objective was to build on the strong corporate brand.
Rather than consider each annual report individually, the emphasis was to creatively and collectively interpret the logo (Diana: the Goddess of Hunting), thus continually challenging and building the brand year by year through creative photography, illustration and strong print production methods.
The Success
We were involved with Bloomsbury Publishing from their very beginnings as a small independent publisher, and like to think that we have visually contributed to their astounding success as a creative company as well as being a major player in the global book publishing market.
